iPad version of Funi Player, Funi Player HD is launched!

Today, we are happy to announce the launch of Funi Player HD, the iPad version of Funi Player. To fulfill the needs of many users who wanted to use iPad version of Funi Player, we did our best to make almost a new App to fit the need of many users.

Just as many users have expected, Funi Player HD is the best music player to enjoy music with iPad lyrics. The default iPad music player does not support lyrics in iOS 5 +. Many users, especially Japanese users have used iPhone version of Funi Player as the alternative choice to enjoy musics with lyrics in iPads. Now Funi Player HD is released. It is the time to feel the music in full experience even in iPad.

Update to Ver.1.22 and solution for crashes after iOS 6 update.

Funi Player was updated to Ver.1.22.
Support for iOS 6 and iPhone 5 is the main theme for this update, and there are other minor changes.

After iOS 6 update, most users may have experienced crash in launching Funi Player. Many savvy users naturally deleted this app and downloaded it again. Then it will work just as normal. Moreover, once purchased, users doesn't pay again while downloading again. However, other users may not think of this solution. We hoped to solve this problem with versioning up, however, this seems not to be the good solution for the users.

Therefore, deleting Funi Player and downloading it again is now the best recommended way for the users struggling with crashes after updating to iOS 6. We are asking the reason to Apple, however it seems to take long period to find the clue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Funi Player and Funi Player Lite updated to Ver. 1.20.

Funi Player and Funi Player Lite are updated to Ver. 1.20.

The most impressive change in this version is pitch control and speed control. By using excellent Dirac Pro API, those two feature is now to the level of professional music device. Dirac Time Stretching & Pitch Shifting technology is one of the best in the world, and many famous professional iOS Apps is using it. Therefore, it is enjoyable experience to test various variations with the technology. I specially appreciate Stephan M. Bernsee of DSP Dimension. Without his advice, it would be impossible to finish this update.

Enhanced pitch control

The quality of pitch control is a lot different from the previous versions.
Moreover, some cute buttons are added to provide easy access to funny effects. Man icon will shift down to half octave. Adversely, woman icon will lead to half octave up. Natural Up button will only work while shifting up. By using it, you can keep formant of sound steadily, so there will be no chipmunk sound in pitching up.

The same Pitch Shifting effect is also used in Vocal Removed Effect, however Natural Up button is excluded considering performance.

Detailed Speed Control

The next biggest change is Speed Control. Quality is much enhance by using Dirac API, so this version will provide deeper experience and taste of musics.
In previous version, the range of time stretch is between 0.5 X and 2.0 X. In version 1.20, the range is between 0.25X and 2.0X. Minimum control scale is now 0.01, so there is no fractures in scaling up. In Lite version, the minimum scale is now 0.05.

Other changes

To solve some crashes reported by some users while updating library, data base structure and the process of updating library are simplified and enhanced. Recording quality of some effects are enhanced, and supporting file format is enlarged to Wav. and Aif. in Vocal Removed Effect, Pitch Control and Speed Control. Effect Playing was crashed when there is no artist name in version 1.16, and this bug is fixed in version 1.20. Several minor changes are also made in this version.

Funi Player is updated to ver.1.15.

Today, Funi Player and Funi Player Lite are updated to ver.1.15.

Below is the details of ver.1.15.

- Supporting scrubbing in Acappella Effect and Vocal Removed Effect. In iPhone 3GS, scrubbing will be slow because this feature is optimized for iphone 4 +. 

- Recording quality enhanced in Deluxe version.

- No preparing time in Pitch Control, however, wav and aif format are no longer supported in Pitch Control just as other effects. 

- Library updates error solved while using iTunes Match. 

- Stability improved.

Funi Player and Funi Player Lite are updated to Ver. 1.10.

UI is changed.

There are several new features in this new version.

First of all, Pitch Control is introduced in Ver. 1.10 as a new effect.

Users can change the pitch of songs from -1 octave to +1 octave.

Especially, Vocal Removed Effect also contains this pitch control feature.

Additionally, AB repeat feature is added to Speed Control Play.

Now this Speed Control Play has no time limit in Lite version.
